The delegation of the Murmansk region took part in the Day of Entrepreneurship at the exhibition-forum Russia

The delegation of the Murmansk Region, headed by Natalia Poluyanova, Deputy Minister of Arctic Development and Regional Economy, took part in the Russia exhibition in Moscow as part of the Entrepreneurship Day.

The events marked the end of the annual All-Russian forum "My Business", which brought together more than 400 heads of regional authorities and "My Business" Centers from 89 regions.

The plenary session "Entrepreneurship in Russia" was held during the event: achievements of the sector" with the participation of First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov and Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov, where the results of state support for business in the country were discussed in a dialogue mode.

During the day, at the Murmansk Region stand in Pavilion 75, all visitors to the exhibition were given the opportunity to take part in various thematic quizzes from entrepreneurs, master classes where everyone could create a souvenir with an Arctic flavor with their own hands. Within the framework of the exhibition, the innovative inventions of the entrepreneur – recipient of the "Innovation Voucher" are also presented to visitors.

Another point of attraction was the Far Eastern Panorama, where entrepreneurs of the Murmansk region – recipients of regional support "Gubernatorial Start", which provides for a grant of up to 2 million rubles to open their business, told about their experience of participating in competitive events and presented their projects.

"The competition is one of the most sought-after types of financial support among citizens and the business community of the region. As part of the competitive selection process, about a thousand applications were submitted during the period of the Governor's Start program. In total, from 2020 to 2023, according to the results of competitive selections, 127 applicants received a grant for a total amount of about 134 million rubles for the implementation of their unique projects," Natalia Poluyanova noted.
