The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has developed an investment map of the country for Russian and foreign entrepreneurs and investors. This was announced by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov during the plenary session of the Entrepreneurship Day at the forum-exhibition "Russia" at VDNH.
The Murmansk region became one of the best regions of the country for working on the new resource and was invited to participate in the presentation of the investment map. The platform is based on data from investment maps of Russian regions, which were developed during the implementation of the regional investment standard under the leadership of First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov.
"The investment map of Russia will help to strengthen work with investments in the regions. We developed it with the Moscow government and launched it at the beginning of the month. For businesses, this is an opportunity to choose a plot of land for any project: from opening a cafe to building a large industrial plant. The map contains data on almost 14 thousand investment sites: their size, equipment, and available support measures," Maxim Reshetnikov said.
The federal map was developed at the request of business, it has already been evaluated by representatives of Delovaya Rossiya, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The map shows ready-made industrial sites, land plots, and premises for small businesses. It is possible to assess the business environment of the future project: sales markets, preferential treatment, availability of minerals and infrastructure – from pavement to cellular communications.
The Murmansk Region Development Corporation, together with the executive authorities, provides regular filling and updating of up-to-date data on the region. In addition, the information displayed on the federal information resource can always be found on the regional Investment portal, which, according to the expert community, is among the best in the country.
"The map allows you to search for sites in different regions and compare their capabilities. Here you can find information about key indicators in the region that may have an impact on the implementation of the project. All this allows us to estimate the costs of the project and select measures of state support, including within the framework of the regimes of the Russian Arctic and the TOP "Capital of the Arctic", – said Svetlana Panfilova, Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk region.
