The results of the working trip to the Murmansk Region of the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, General Director of GTLK Evgeny Dietrich and Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vasily Desyatkov were announced by Governor Andrey Chibis during the operational meeting.
"Together with colleagues, we examined the progress of work at the facilities of the Murmansk transport hub. Also at the meeting of the coordinating council, important issues of the project implementation were discussed, on which additional decisions were required. Let me remind you that the Russian Government has allocated 37.7 billion rubles for the comprehensive development of the Murmansk transport hub. Thanks to this, contractors and workers have already entered the facility," Andrei Chibis said.
The head of the region thanked the President of Russia, the federal government, as well as all colleagues for supporting the project.
In addition, the head of the region held a working meeting with the General Director of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov
"Oleg Valentinovich supported our proposal to increase the number of "southern" trains for northerners and upgrade rolling stock. In addition, he promised to assist in the construction of a swimming pool in Pechenga. I thank Oleg Valentinovich for supporting such important investment and social projects," the head of the region concluded.
