Governor Andrey Chibis approved the composition of the regional organizing committee and the plan of major events for the preparation and holding of the VI International Forum "Arctic – Territory of Dialogue" in the Murmansk Region.
The events of the forum will be held on March 26-27, 2025 under the motto "Live in the North!", the main venue will be the regional Palace of Culture and Folk Art named after S.M. Kirov. The main topics to be discussed by the participants will be the development of the Northern Sea Route, improving the quality of life in the Arctic territories, attracting investments and developing resources, innovations, technologies and personnel in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
Regional authorities, together with federal relevant departments, are cooperating and preparing according to the approved plan: it provides for the formation of business, exhibition, cultural and sports programs, the preparation of urban infrastructure and landscaping, security, transport and medical support.
The Forum is a key platform for discussing topical issues of socio-economic development of the Arctic territories, developing multi-level, multilateral mechanisms for joint disclosure and effective development of the powerful resource potential of the Arctic region. The forum program will also include sports and cultural events, business meetings and discussions, and the 90th Festival of the North will be held simultaneously with the forum.
