The winners of the Governors Start contest have been determined

The results of the competitive selection for the grant "Governor's Start" in 2025 have been summed up. Governor Andrey Chibis spoke about the work on supporting entrepreneurial initiatives during an operational meeting in the regional government.

The Governor's Start contest is one of the most sought–after among polar entrepreneurs. The program began work in 2020 and is part of the strategic plan "Live in the North!". Over the past five years, more than 160 entrepreneurs have received support for a total of 184 million rubles. The Governor's Start contest was launched on the initiative of the head of the region Andrey Chibis.

"In 2025, 33 projects totaling almost 50 million rubles were recognized as winners. Among them, according to tradition, are objects of tourist, cultural and leisure infrastructure and children's creativity, enterprises
catering. There are also a number of projects that are distinguished by their originality and high degree of relevance. For example, the rural co-working space of the seasonal trade in seedlings and seedlings "Green North". He is responding to the growing demand related to the development of individual housing construction and the implementation of the "Your Home in the Arctic" program. In addition, an enterprise for the production of metal structures, a workshop for processing wild berries and other significant initiatives will receive support," said Governor Andrey Chibis.

The geography of the program is extensive – from large municipalities and towns to small remote settlements. Both startups and projects for the development of existing businesses have been supported. Among the categories of winners are young people, participants of the SVO and their family members, large families. Recall that in 2025, on behalf of Governor Andrey Chibis, projects in the areas defined by the strategic plan "Live in the North!" were allocated to the priority category and can qualify for the maximum grant amount of up to 2 million rubles. The funds can be used to rent non-residential premises or land plots, purchase fixed assets, advertise and promote the project, as well as repair and construction and installation work.
