The official opening of the front office of the Tourist Information Center of the Murmansk region - TIC "Severny" in Nickel took place in the Pechenga district.
"It is especially important that on the eve of the summer tourist season, we are opening a new point on the tourist map in the Murmansk region," said Alexander Eliseev, Chairman of the Murmansk Region Tourism Committee.
The event brought together experienced and novice guides and guides of the Pechenga district participating in the project "Self-employed. The way to tourism".
The opening ceremony was also attended by:
- Irina Zhuikova, Director of the Department of Social Policy - Head of the Department of Social and Charitable Programs of PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel,
- Andrey Kuznetsov, Head of the Pechenga Municipal District,
- Natalia Sidorina, Head of the "Development of Society" direction of the "Second School" Center,
- Emma Sudarkina, Manager of the Tourist Information Center of the Pechenga District.
Guests of the Pechenga district will be able to learn about souvenirs and their places of sale, hotels and catering outlets. Information about excursions, offers of travel agencies, about the most famous and popular places in the northern part of the Murmansk region will also be available. In addition, the tourist information center of the Murmansk Region will become a unifying place of attraction for entrepreneurs in the tourism and hospitality industry, including within the framework of the Polar Explorer Passport project.
