The Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis, as part of the delegation of the Government of the Russian Federation, is working in Shanghai today. Representatives of the regional Government took part in a number of bilateral meetings. The agenda includes the development of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China.
In Shanghai, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev held a number of meetings with the leadership of Chinese companies to discuss the development of cooperation between Russia and China. The event was attended by the Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov and the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis.
"Under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Petrovich Trutnev, cooperation in new directions was discussed with colleagues from China. I am sure that we will be able to increase cooperation with Chinese partners," said the head of the Kola Polar Region.
Negotiations were held with the management of transport, construction, logistics, energy and high technology companies.
Among the projects, the initiatives of the Chinese side on the creation of Russian-Chinese logistics centers, optimization of logistics chains and minimization of customs procedures for the transportation of products and equipment were considered.
The possibility of building international bridges between Russia and China was also discussed.
Tomorrow, the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis, as part of the Russian Government delegation, is taking part in the Russian-Chinese forum in Shanghai. The forum is expected to hold a plenary session with the participation of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, a number of thematic panel sessions on the development of investment cooperation, cooperation in industry, agriculture, high technology, transport, energy, financial and banking cooperation, as well as separate B2B meetings.
