On Monday, June 28, a branch of the My Business center will start working in Kandalaksha. It was created to support and develop entrepreneurs and self-employed northerners and appeared on behalf of the governor. It was given at one of the visiting meetings of the Government of the Murmansk region.
Today, during a working trip to the district, the head of the region, Andrey Chibis, visited the new institution.
"The center will start working on Monday, and I hope that it will be useful and in demand. But the question is not in the premises, but in the real possibility to solve your problem. Today we talked about the support measures that we provide to entrepreneurs, and there is an effect from them, but it is quite obvious that every entrepreneur in a particular district and city has his own questions. And we must make sure that entrepreneurs have an entry point where they can solve their problems, " the governor commented.
"My business" in Kandalaksha is an office for conducting training sessions, seminars, conferences, meetings, a meeting room, master classes, organizing various exhibitions. In addition, there are also five offices – workplaces that will be provided to aspiring young entrepreneurs free of charge in order to reduce their costs at the beginning of the development of their business.
It is planned that the staff of the center, in addition to daily consultations, will hold forums and seminars on the development of youth entrepreneurship, analyze the main risks at the start of a business idea, help in the preparation of a business plan, advise visitors on existing measures of state financial and non-financial support.
The purpose of creating the center in Kandalaksha is to increase the economic literacy of northerners, increase the number of entrepreneurs in the district and, as a result, reduce the outflow of population.
As Irina Prosolenko, the first deputy head of the administration of the Kandalaksha district, noted, there is a need for the center's services, since every year the municipality holds training seminars for entrepreneurs, where they tell about all measures to support SMEs.
"Now there will be more such events for entrepreneurs. In addition, by opening "My Business" here we have breathed new life into the premises of the former printing house, " Irina Prosolenko stressed.
In the "My Business" center today, the governor held a meeting with entrepreneurs of the district who are already successfully working in Kandalaksha and plan to develop on the territory. So, among the participants was the author of the famous project "Double house – Kandalaksha" Alexander Trunkovsky. He presented a new project of a network of mountain shelters that are planned to be installed on Krestovaya Hill as part of the implementation of a grant from the Federal Tourism Agency. In addition, the project of reconstruction of the hotel on the Monastyrsky navolok and other initiatives were presented at the meeting.
The entrepreneurs also shared their problems, discussed the issues of concern with the head of the region and thanked the governor for the tax benefits introduced.
