The winners and prize-winners of the regional competition "Exporter of the Year"were awarded in Murmansk.
The competition is held annually in all regions of the presence of export support centers within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative". The purpose of the event is to stimulate and develop export-oriented small and medium-sized businesses, to recognize and encourage the success and merits of local exporting companies.
"The Murmansk region is a border region, so we need to develop the export direction, and there is a huge potential here. We are among the TOP 15 regions-the main exporters of Russia. Last year, the export of goods amounted to 4.7 billion US dollars, more than 10 % - the contribution of small and medium-sized businesses, which is fully supported by the Export Support Center, " said Tatyana Russkova, Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.
This year, 8 small and medium-sized enterprises became winners in 4 categories. For the first time in the Murmansk Region, the winners in the category "Exporter of the Year on international trading platforms"were selected.
"The new nomination is related to the coronavirus pandemic, the winners are those companies that have most successfully adapted to the current situation. Today is a special day for us also because for the first time in our region, the winners of this competition are awarded in person. Our main goal is to promote exports among the enterprises of the region, to show that with the support of the state it is possible to enter the international market," said Anastasia Tyutina, head of the Export Support Center of the Murmansk Region.
In the category "Breakthrough of the Year" the winner was the company Kolskij Kraj, the second place was taken by LLC Akvanord.
The winner in the category" Exporter of the Year on international electronic trading platforms "was recognized as an individual entrepreneur Anton Kotov, the second place was taken by LLC Parlament, the third place was taken by an individual entrepreneur Dmitry Kalchuk.
In the category "Exporter of the Year in the service sector", the winner was an individual entrepreneur Ivan Sukhanov.
In the category "Exporter of the year in the field of agro-industrial complex", the winner was LLC Rybnye Manufaktury Murmansk, the silver medalist-LLC Park.
