The Governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis took part in the opening ceremony of the region's first private centre of reproductive technologies "Embrylife" implemented in the format of public-private partnership "rent with investment obligations," and appreciated the importance of this medical facility for northerners.

"The fact that such a centre needs to appear, we agreed at the end of last year, today it is already running. Previously, a northerner, to solve the problem had to be outside the region of 35 days, now only five. This is convenient from the point of view of psychological comfort, and financial", – said the Governor.

The new medical facility housed in one of the blocks of the perinatal center that will allow patients to receive services infertility treatment techniques in vitro fertilization (IVF) in a single technological chain: from diagnosis and treatment to the long-awaited pregnancy, and its further management. Preparation, entry into the Protocol, as well as subsequent monitoring and management of patients will be held in Murmansk.

According to the Ministry of health of the Murmansk region, in the region of the diagnosis of "infertility" are about three thousand women. For 2019 475 patients have been treated with assisted reproductive technologies, two-thirds of them outside the Murmansk region, many have received help in the St. Petersburg center "Embrylife". Now specialized care with the use of reproductive technologies these investigations will be able to get free of charge funds. The centre will be in demand for first day in reception have already signed up 54 people.
